Carbon Footprint

Carbon footprint refers to the carbon gas that is caused by fulfilling the warming and transportation needs or spreading of gas via energy consumption channels. Carbon is used in a general sense on behalf of all the greenhouse gases that have an effect on global warming. We all have a carbon footprint individually and this raises the greenhouse effect in atmosphere.

Carbon footprint is measured as unit carbon dioxide and is the amount of harm caused by human activities in terms of greenhouse gas quantity. It is evaluated under two headings; The primary footprint is the amount directly caused and the secondary is the amount that comes from our lifestyle and consumption habits.

As Sedele, we organize a meeting on carbon footprint every year in August and discuss thoroughly how we can reduce it and set targets. Our opinion; this issue will be the basis of various economic and social evaluations with the increasing environmental awareness in the coming years, and will arise like a litmus paper in supplier preferences.
